Recovery and Rehabilitation
Mental Health: 412-350-4456
Substance Abuse Management: 412-350-3328
Recovery is a deeply personal process. It involves changing attitudes and beliefs, developing new skills, and taking on new roles. It is a way of living a satisfying, hopeful and productive life even with an illness.
Successful recovery does not change the fact that the illness has occurred, or that feelings of illness might reoccur. Recovery means moving on, finding new dreams and making them come true. Other treatment options include rehabilitation services that help people in recovery from mental illness or substance use disorders.
Rehabilitation services for individuals in recovery provide:
- Educational
- Employment
- Social and
- Psychiatric rehabilitation services; as well as
