Allegheny County Problem Gambling Mini-Grant Program Request for Applications (See important dates, below)

Allegheny County Department of Human Services, Office of Behavioral Health, Bureau of Drug and Alcohol Services is pleased to announce the availability of funds to facilitate a means by which schools, faith-based organizations, and agencies that provide services to older adults in Allegheny County can educate their local community on issues related to problem and compulsive gambling.

The primary objectives of this mini-grant are to establish and enhance collaborative relationships and increase awareness and knowledge in the area of problem and compulsive gambling; work collaboratively to develop system-wide efforts to increase referrals into treatment for problem gambling; and implement activities directed toward changing individual and community norms regarding problem gambling behaviors.
