Open Burning

 

Open burning is a regulated operation within Allegheny County.  Before any open burning takes place your local government should be contacted regarding the local or county ordinance.  Safe and lawful practices should be followed during all open burning. 

Please refer to Allegheny County Health Department's  Clean Air Regulations for more information on Open Burning (ACHD Article XXI; Subpart 5; Section 2105.50).
