Residents and staff at the Kane Regional Center in Ross Township didn’t need to visit New Orleans to be a part of the Mardi Gras celebration. Entertainer Trina Janura visited Kane Ross and delivered a performance worthy of the annual festive celebration.
Janura performed a variety of jazz music with ties to New Orleans and Mardi Gras. Residents received Mardi Gras beads and enjoyed a “Fat Tuesday” lunch featuring a variety of entrees on Feb. 16.
“The residents enjoyed every minute of the festivities and were excited about Trina’s performance,” said Dana Nicodemus, at Kane Ross. “Who needs to go to Mardi Gras in New Orleans when you have entertainer Trina Janura here at Kane Ross? These types of activities are so important to our residents, and we enjoy all of the planning and effort that goes into making the day a success.”
