PITTSBURGH — Allegheny County Public Works today announced that Monroeville Trestle Road/Center Road in Plum has completely reopened to traffic.

Crews completed the repaving of the roadway ahead of schedule. Posted detours have been removed.

Monroeville Trestle Road/Center Road had been closed since last Friday due to a sinkhole caused by mine subsidence. The U.S. Office of Surface Mining coordinated repairs to the roadway and will cover all costs associated with the project.
