PITTSBURGH — Allegheny County Public Works announced that due to tonight’s forecasted rain, the contractor’s plans for deck placement on the Rankin Bridge have been cancelled. The single alternating lane restrictions, scheduled for 6:00 p.m. tonight to 6:00 a.m., Thurs., July 29, will not occur.

The single lane traffic restrictions from 6:00 p.m. Thurs., July 29, to 6:00 a.m. Fri., July 30, are still planned. Motorists should expect some stoppages as concrete trucks and other equipment are moved onto and off of the bridge.
