DHS KEYS Service Corps – Spring Clean Up in Highland Park

PITTSBURGH - On Saturday, April 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Allegheny County Department of Human Services KEYS (Knowledge to Empower Youth to Success) Service Corps will gather to complete a beautification project at Highland Park. Approximately 150 DHS KEYS Service Corps members and volunteers will spend the day planting trees, removing invasive species and picking up trash. 

DHS KEYS Service Corps members are committed to serving at-risk youth through tutoring, mentoring, and guiding youth with design and implementation of community service projects to benefit their communities. Since its formation in 1995, nearly 1,500 DHS KEYS Service Corps members have spent more than a million hours serving thousands of youth. Additionally, members have recruited 9,716 volunteers who have provided more than 95,457 hours of volunteer service.
