PITTSBURGH – The Allegheny County Department of Public Works today announced today that a stop sign will be installed at the intersection of Neville Road and Route 51, near the northern end of the Fleming Park Bridge, at approximately 9:00 a.m. on Monday, August 20.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, in cooperation with the Department of Public Works, conducted the necessary traffic studies to determine that a multi-way stop sign was warranted at this location. In order to alert traffic to the new sign/traffic control device, the Department will be installing two flashing red lights on top of the sign for two months.
