The old year’s woes must be frightened off by bells ringing and rifles firing. The new year will be welcomed with gifts to those whom you visit. In addition, the tradition of first footing, when the first guest in the new year should be a dark haired, tall male in order to ensure good luck will be observed. $2 admission
