The Office of Equity and Engagement’s (OEE) Racial Equity Fellowship is for individuals who are interested in promoting equity and social justice within a local government setting.

The Racial Equity Fellows work closely with government officials, department leadership, community leaders and stakeholders to develop and implement initiatives that address systemic inequities within Allegheny County. Each Fellow is also responsible for leading their own project to be accomplished during their fellowship. Descriptions of the 2024 Cohort’s projects are below.
