Why DHS?
Two decades of innovative problem-solving characterize the dynamic staff of DHS. Our combined contributions transformed a fragmented system into a national model in many aspects of human service delivery. From evidence-based practices that keep at-risk families together, to determining best practices using data analysis, much of the work done at DHS has garnered the attention of other human services agencies around the country.
We are charting new territory to continue the full integration of services while setting new standards in the accessibility and quality of programs. We’ve been honored for innovative practices, the development of technology applications and for excellence in government.
We’re an organization that values inclusion both for the people we serve and for our staff. We believe each of our staff members should have the opportunity for an empowering, impactful and positive experience in the workplace.
We are on the forefront of human services delivery. Still, every day, new challenges arise and our team is team is always working to meet them.
