PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that Chamberlain Road between Gill Hall Road and Shenandoah Drive in Jefferson Hills has reopened to traffic earlier than expected. The closure, which began on March 10, 2026, was required to replace a culvert named Beams Run Bridge No. 1. The project also included roadway repairs, and the installation of guiderail, signs, and pavement markings.
Chamberlain Road is used by an average of 3,402 drivers daily.
Pugliano Construction of Plum was the primary construction contractor for the $517,777 project.
