Keeping Allegheny County Informed

The Allegheny County government touches the lives of our residents in many ways: we maintain hundreds of bridges, pave and plow county roads, maintain county parks and pools, help constituents with marriage licenses and passports, administer elections, answer 9-1-1 calls, and so much more. Because our reach and responsibilities are vast, we have a team of communications professionals that are responsible for sharing information with the public and the media about critical county functions. Office of County Executive Innamorato

The Office of the County Executive is responsible for all of the Departments and Divisions under the Executive Branch. All media inquiries for the County Executive should be sent to the Director of Communications.

The Director of Communications also handles press inquiries for departments and divisions that do not have their own dedicated Public Information Officers: Medical Examiner, Public Defender, Elections, Parks, Kane, Weights and Measures, Budget and Finance.
