Nonprofit businesses make key contributions to the county's economic growth. Allegheny County Economic Development (ACED) offers the following opportunities to help fund nonprofit projects.

Allegheny Housing Development Fund (AHDF)
For nonprofit and for-profit housing developers to construct or renovate affordable housing

Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE)
For commercial, industrial, multi-family, and agricultural property owners to obtain long-term financing for energy efficiency, renewable energy, and water conservation projects

Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
For economic development, municipal public improvements, and housing development projects

Gaming Economic Development Tourism Fund (GEDTF)
For municipalities, authorities, Councils of Government (COGs), nonprofits, and for-profit businesses to carry out projects that promote local economic activity
