Harrison Hills Park

Located in Harrison Township on 524 acres, this park features many places to have fun and enjoy the nature, including an environmental learning center, a scenic overlook, ponds, a birding area, walking, hiking and bridle trails, playgrounds, and soccer fields.

About Harrison Hills Park

Harrison Hills Park officially opened in 1971 is located in the northeast corner of Allegheny County and borders the Allegheny River.

Did You Know? Because of the Friends of Harrison Hills and their hard work, Harrison Hills Park has trails for everyone — including paved trails that are perfect for wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices.

Two other projects of the Friends of Harrison Hills include a place to take in the beautiful vistas — the Watts Memorial Overlook; and the Environmental Learning Center — a perfect place for kids (and adults) to learn more about nature in a hands-on fashion. There's even more natural beauty at the wildlife observation blind, a popular place for birding.
