Allegheny County Courthouse

A National Historic Landmark, the Allegheny County Courthouse is considered among the finest examples of Romanesque Revival and includes Syrian arches, Byzantine capitals, late French Gothic dormer windows, and French Renaissance roofs. One of its most striking attributes is the bell tower, which rises more than 229 feet above Grant Street.

The Mansion

Hartwood Acres Park has one of the largest and most spectacular country estates in the region. The park consists of a stately Tudor Mansion (erected in 1929) cottage, stable complex and gate lodge (erected in 1927).

The Stables


The Stables at Hartwood Acres Park

Designed in the 1920s by Alfred Hopkins to resemble an English Cotswold Village, the Stables at Hartwood encompasses old-world charm and enchanting scenery. The open-air courtyard and the ivy-covered stables provide the perfect combination of an indoor and outdoor space for you and your guests to enjoy. 

The Stables at Hartwood can accommodate up to 100 guests and is available May through October for weddings and events.
