16 May 2026 Movies Under the Stars is a delightful outdoor cinema experience where teens and adults can enjoy watching their favorite films on a large screen beneath the beautiful night sky in park settings. Guests are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and snacks, and make themselves cozy as the sun begins to set.

Traveling Glass Recycling

04 Apr 2026 Glass bottles and jars are 100% recyclable and can be recycled for reuse endlessly without losing any quality! The traveling glass bin will be at each location for nearly a month, available daily from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. All colors of glass are accepted; containers must be empty; caps, lids, and labels are okay.

Marbles Program Tournaments

04 Apr 2026 Allegheny County hosts a free annual marble competition series for youth ages 7-14. Previous knowledge and experience is not required. Instructors are onsite to teach how to play and oversee the tournaments.
