Patton Street in Monroeville Reopens to Traffic

PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that Patton Street between Monroeville Boulevard and Mt. Pleasant Drive in Monroeville has reopened to traffic earlier than expected. The closure, which began on June 9, 2025, was required to construct a retaining wall; paving; drainage improvements; and to replace signs, pavement markings, and guide rail.

Patton Street is used by an average of 8,217 drivers daily.

Pugliano Construction Company of Plum was the primary construction contractor for the $487,774 project.
