McClaren Road in Findlay Reopens to Traffic

McClaren’s Run Bridge No. 7 in Findlay

PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that McClaren Road between Sabre Road and Resurrection Road in Findlay has reopened to traffic earlier than expected. The closure, which began on April 6, 2026, was required to replace McClaren’s Run Bridge No. 7.

A. Merante Contracting of Baldwin Borough was the primary construction contractor for the $1.1 million project.

McClaren’s Run Bridge No. 7 carries an average of 944 vehicles daily over McClaren’s Run. The structure that was replaced had a condition rating of 4 (poor condition) on a 0-9 scale based on National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) established by the Federal Highway Administration.
