County Offices Closed Thursday, January 1 for New Year’s Day

PITTSBURGH – All Allegheny County offices, including the independently elected offices, the Courts, and County Council, will be closed on Thursday, January 1 in Observance of the New Year’s Day holiday. The Courts will close the previous day, December 31 for New Year’s Eve. All offices, courts and parks facilities will return to regular hours on January 2.

Parks will be open for ice skating, skiing, and snowboarding– dependent on weather conditions. County ice rinks and ski slopes will be operating on adjusted hours.
