Braddock Avenue/Kenmawr Avenue Ramp to Close on February 19

PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that the Braddock Avenue/Kenmawr Avenue ramp, located between Talbot Avenue and Line Street in Rankin, will close starting at 9:00 am on Monday, February 19, 2024. The closure, which is expected to end in December 2024, is required for replacement of the poor-rated ramp, including new pavement, sidewalk, curb, drainage, barrier and guide rail, traffic signals, roadway lighting, signage, and pavement markings.

Eastbound traffic will be detoured using Talbot Avenue, Fourth Street, Sixth Street. Westbound traffic will be detoured using Fourth Street and Talbot Avenue.

The $9.3 million project will be done by Mosites Construction Company of Robinson.
