Chamberlain Road in Jefferson Hills to Close Starting on March 10

PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that Chamberlain Road in Jefferson Hills will close between Gill Hall Road and Shenandoah Drive starting at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. The closure, which is expected to end in June, is required to replace a culvert named Beams Run Bridge No. 1. The project also includes roadway repairs, and installation of guide rail, signs, and pavement markings.
Traffic will be detoured using Gill Hall Road and Old Clairton Road. Residents who live within and near the closure area will have access to their homes at all times.
Chamberlain Road is used by an average of 3,402 drivers daily.
Pugliano Construction of Plum is the primary construction contractor for the $517,777 project.
