PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that periodic lane closures on Lindsey Lane in Plum will begin at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2024. The restrictions will occur between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. on weekdays, and they are expected to end in October. They are required for chip sealing, base repairs, and drainage improvements.
Drivers can expect to experience short stoppages at work zones, and flaggers will be used to control traffic.
Lindsey Lane is used by an average of 2,918 drivers daily.
The project will be done by A. Folino Construction, Inc., of Oakmont as part of a $5.6 million contract that includes work on eight other roads.
