Part of McClaren Road in Findlay to Close Starting on April 6

McClaren's Run Bridge No. 7 in Findlay

PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that McClaren Road in Findlay will close between Sabre Road and Resurrection Road starting at 9 a.m. on Monday, April 6, 2026. The closure, which is expected to end in October 2026, is required to replace McClaren’s Run Bridge No. 7.

Eastbound traffic will be detoured using I-376 East, I-376 West Business Loop (Exit 57), Ewing Road, and Resurrection Road. Westbound traffic will be detoured using Resurrection Road, I-376 East Business Loop, I-376 West, and McClaren Road (Exit 56).

A. Merante Contracting of Baldwin Borough is the primary construction contractor for the $1.1 million project.

McClaren’s Run Bridge No. 7 carries an average of 944 vehicles daily over McClaren’s Run. It has a bridge condition rating of 4 (poor condition) on a 0-9 scale based on National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) established by the Federal Highway Administration.
