PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that the 500 block of Baileys Run Road in East Deer has reopened to traffic earlier than expected. The closure, which began on April 6, 2026, was required for construction of a retaining wall, drainage improvements, roadway repairs, and the installation of pavement markings.
Baileys Run Road is used by an average of 4,363 drivers daily.
Pugliano Construction of Plum was the primary construction contractor for the $164,446 project.
