County Pools and Spray Parks Open for the 2026 Summer Season June 6

Published on May 26, 2026

PITTSBURGH –  Allegheny County Parks today announced that the Boyce Park Wave Pool, North Park Swimming Pool, Settlers Cabin Wave Pool, and South Park Wave Pool will open for the 2026 summer season on Saturday, June 6, weather and conditions permitting.

Daily hours of operation for all county pools are 11:30 am to 7:00 pm. Concessions will also be open daily.

Allegheny County’s four swimming facilities offer fun and accessible summer recreation opportunities for residents and visitors of all ages. Boyce, Settlers Cabin, and South Parks feature wave pools with zero-depth entry ramps, while the historic two-million-gallon pool at North Park includes a mechanical lift, zero-depth baby pool, and splash pad area designed for guests of all abilities.

In addition to the county pools, the Deer Lakes and Round Hill spray parks will also open for the season and are free for all visitors.

“Summer in Allegheny County means time outdoors with family and friends, and our county pools and spray parks are an important part of that tradition,” said County Executive Sara Innamorato. “Our parks offer safe, welcoming, and affordable spaces for residents to connect and enjoy everything summer has to offer.”

Season pool passes are currently on sale and provide unlimited access to all four county pools throughout the summer season, excluding holidays including Independence Day and Labor Day.
