Part of Crawford Run Road in East Deer to Close Starting on June 8

Crawford Run Bridge No. 3 in East Deer

PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that part of the 400 block of Crawford Run Road in East Deer will close starting at 9 am on Monday, June 8, 2026. The closure, which is expected to end in October, is required to replace a culvert named Crawford Run Road Bridge No. 3.

Traffic will be detoured using Freeport Road, Baileys Run Road, and Russellton Airport Road. Residents who live near the closure area will have access to their homes at all times.

Crawford Run Road is used by an average of 2,731 drivers daily.

Pugliano Construction of Plum is the primary construction contractor for the $335,922 project.
