Ballot Return Sites
In addition to the extended ballot return hours downtown, the Allegheny County Elections Division will offer additional staffed mail-in or absentee ballot return sites for the upcoming election. The sites are spread throughout Allegheny County and will be available for the two weekends before Election Day. Ballot return sites will only accept completed ballots. "Over the counter” voting is not available at these sites.
The County Office Building will be open for voters to apply for mail-in or absentee ballots, vote in person (“over the counter" voting), or return completed mail-in ballots. "Over the counter" voting is available on the first floor of the County Office Building at the corner of Forbes Avenue and Ross Street.
Voters may only return their own ballot, unless they have completed authorization forms to return a ballot on behalf of someone who physically is unable to do so. For individuals requiring assistance in voting or returning a ballot, contact the Elections Division at 412-350-4500.
