PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that Roberts Hollow Road from Warren Hill Road to Wall Road as well as Warren Hill Road in Forward have reopened to traffic earlier than expected. Part of Roberts Hollow Road has been closed since March 10, 2025, and Warren Hill Road has been closed since August 18, 2025. The closures were required to replace Fallen Timber Run Bridges No. 5, 6, and 7, including roadway work, utility work, new pavement markings, and guide rail replacement.

Pugliano Construction Company of Plum was the prime construction contractor for the $1.4 million project.

Roberts Hollow Road is used by an average of 1,726 drivers daily, and Warren Hill Road is used by an average of 669 drivers daily.

Prior to the project, Fallen Timber Run Bridges Nos. 5, 6, and 7 each had a bridge condition rating of 4 (poor condition) on a 0-9 scale based on National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) established by the Federal Highway Administration.
