County Executive Innamorato Announce State Investment of $11 Million

The Commonwealth Financing Authority met on November 18 and awarded a total of $10,944,244 to 95 projects in Allegheny County through the Gaming Economic Development Tourism Fund (GEDTF) that will be administered by the Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County (RAAC) and Allegheny County Economic Development (ACED).

County Executive Joins Glassport Community to Unveil New Public Art

This weekend County Executive Sara Innamorato celebrated the ribbon cutting for the new Glassport Gateway signage. The vibrant glass mosaic brought to life by talented Pittsburgh artists Sarah Cohen and Gwen Sadler, an alumna of Alloy Pittsburgh and a regular contributor to Rivers of Steel’s Metal Arts program. This piece was inspired by a design from Glassport artist Christopher Galiyas.

Innamorato Announces 2024 Active Allegheny Grant Program Awards

RAAC Completes Acquisition of the Brilliant Line

The Redevelopment Authority of Allegheny County (RAAC), under the umbrella of Allegheny County Economic Development (ACED), completed the acquisition of the 3.6-mile Brilliant Branch rail line on April 4th, 2025. RAAC acquired the line from the Allegheny Valley Railroad using $3.5 million of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds that were allocated to Allegheny County’s Trail Development Fund.
