Farm Tours

Round Hill Farm is a working farm located in Round Hill Park, with a variety of animals including cows, pigs, goats, ducks and geese, and even alpacas! Depending on the season or time of day, animals are either in the barns or roaming the pastures. Feel free to bring snacks and drinks and use the pavilion if it's available, or find a spot in the sprawling acreage of the park to enjoy a scenic picnic.

Please help keep the animals healthy - do not feed the animals.

Visitors can explore the farm on their own. During self-guided farm tours(PDF, 12MB), visitors can walk around and into the barns to explore the animal pens, and read the posted signage about the animals, Round Hill Farm's history, and agricultural practices.

Schools, community groups and organizations can schedule a Ranger Guided Tourusing the form below, with the knowledgeable and entertaining Allegheny County Park Rangers.

New in 2025, visitors can join a pre-scheduled weekend Ranger Guided Tour.
