Come to A Free Guided Tour!

Welcome to Round Hill, which is a working farm located in Round Hill Park. Depending on the season or time of day, animals are either in the barns or roaming the pastures.

The exhibition farm in Round Hill Park offers guided tours to groups of 15 or more. Smaller groups and families can stroll through the farm without a guided tour.

Feel free to bring a picnic lunch and use the pavilion if it's available.

Farm Tour Information

  • Tours are free and take about one hour.
  • Tours are typically geared toward preschool to elementary school ages. The curriculum can be adapted to older students upon request.
  • Young children are taught basic information (for example, mother sheep are called ewes, father sheep are rams and baby sheep are lambs). More detailed information is provided to the older groups, including the history of the farm and care of the livestock.
  • Tours are offered year-round. Peak farm season is from late April through the end of summer.
  • Reservations for the following season start in January.
