Movies Under the Stars at Boyce Park: Superman

Enjoy the free Movies Under the Stars “action night” with Superman on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Boyce Park Four Seasons Lodge. Activities start at 7:00 pm, and movies are scheduled to begin at dusk, generally around 8:30 pm. Closed captioning is available upon request.

Attendees are welcome to bring their own food and drinks, as well as blankets and chairs.

Events are weather-permitting and in the event of inclement weather, please check the Allegheny County Parks Facebook page for updates.

Activity

Attendees of all ages are invited to meet the Man of Steel. Superman will be in attendance and available to pose for photos, sign autographs, and interact with guests from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

This most recent iteration is set within a new DC universe. A few years into his heroics, Superman embarks on a personal quest to understand his Kryptonian heritage and mix it with his upbringing as mild-mannered Clark Kent. Things get complicated when ruthless industrialist Lex Luthor frames Superman for an international incident and plans to put himself on top by bringing Superman down. Now with aid from Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, and the Justice Gang, Superman must embrace his lineage and fully become the hero the world deserves, in order to stop Luthor's plot and save the world.
