Public Comment Notices

The Allegheny County Health Department (ACHD) offers hearings and meetings for the public to provide comments and feedback on topics of interest. People can participate in person, or submit a written comment without having to attend a hearing or meeting, by using the Public Hearing Participation Form. Comments will be weighted equally whether a person attends in person or submits a written comment.

Article XXIV - Paid Parental Leave

A public hearing regarding proposed Article XXIV (“Paid Parental Leave”) has been scheduled for:

Individuals wishing to provide testimony at the public hearing must register using the Public Hearing Participation Form no later than 24 hours prior to the hearing. Oral testimony will be limited to three minutes per speaker.

The Allegheny County Board of Health will also accept public comments beginning Wednesday, May 13, 2026, through 11:59 pm on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Comments may be submitted through any of the following methods:
