The Safety and Justice Community Advisory Council (CAC) is a group of community stakeholders working together on key issues within Allegheny County’s criminal justice system. The CAC serves as a bridge between community members and system partners, including the Allegheny County Executive. It supports transparency, encourages community engagement, and provides feedback on ongoing safety and justice reform efforts.

The CAC includes individuals with a wide range of perspectives, including people with lived experience in the criminal justice system, immigrant communities, and others who have been disproportionately impacted by the justice system or are committed to improving it.
