Rachel Niyonzigira, NHA, MS, RN, PCHA, ALA, CDP

Rachel Niyonzigira serves as the Nursing Home Administrator at Kane Glen Hazel, bringing more than 25 years of experience in long-term care and skilled nursing. She began her healthcare career as a registered nurse and has dedicated her professional life to enhancing the quality of care and services provided to older adults.

Throughout her career, Rachel has held a variety of leadership roles, including Staff Development Coordinator, Infection Control Specialist, Director of Nursing, and Associate Director. Her extensive clinical and administrative experience has equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of healthcare operations, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and resident-centered care.

Rachel earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and her Master of Science in Nursing Administration from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Health Systems Executive Leadership at the University of Pittsburgh.
