Kyle Chintalapalli

Kyle Chintalapalli joined the Allegheny County Manager's Office in August 2026 as Deputy County Manager. In this role, he provides strategic leadership, policy oversight, and operational guidance to leaders and managers across multiple departments, including Economic Development, Facilities Management, Sustainability, Information Technology, and Parks. He also provides support to the County's key housing and real estate initiatives.

Kyle brings over 20 years of experience across the public, private, and nonprofit sectors. For the past 15 years he has worked across Pittsburgh and Southwest Pennsylvania, serving in senior roles for Mayors Ed Gainey and Bill Peduto, and at the Pittsburgh Regional Alliance and the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh. Over that time, he supported projects critical to the city and the region as varied as two Choice Neighborhoods grants, the first affordable housing bond in Pittsburgh's history, and the $600 million reinvestment plan for Downtown Pittsburgh.

Before moving to Pittsburgh, Kyle worked as a construction estimator for a commercial industrial general contractor in his hometown of Erie, Pennsylvania.

Kyle holds a Master of Science in Public Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Pennsylvania State University.
