Friday, May 9, marked the final weekday of Correctional Employees Week, which ran from May 4-10. The ACJ had some special guests like therapy dogs Bertie, Boudica, Annabelle, Mopsy, Summer and Finn who visited the facility to hang out with staff members.
Jail employees also enjoyed an outdoor picnic for all three shifts. Staff members also participated in a dunk tank.
Correctional Employees Week is always held the first full week of May. The ACJ hosts multiple events, including the annual Memorial Service that took place this year on May 7.
