Another Happy Adoption: Zeus Finds His Forever Home

Published on December 15, 2025

Zeus enjoys a back scratch.

Zeus has found his forever home.

The large, mixed-breed male, who arrived at the jail in November from Animal Friends, was recently adopted by a local family and is enjoying his new home.

Zeus was a transfer to Animal Friends from another county, so little was known about his past or background. The 75-pounder is approximately two years old and was described as “goofy” with “a personality to match his size.”

This marks the fifth successful adoption from the TAILS program at the Allegheny County Jail. The program began as a pilot program in June between the ACJ and Animal Friends.
