The Allegheny County Jail welcomed its latest TAILS program participant on Wednesday, Aug. 13 as Nettle arrived from Animal Friends.
At 12 years of age, Nettle is an older, mixed-breed female who weighs 50 pounds. She is described as “still spunky” and “pure muscle” who loves to drool. She is very sweet and will let you know if you’re not giving her what she wants.
The jail’s partnership with Animal Friends celebrated its one-year anniversary last month. If you’re interested in adopting Lola or any of the homeless pets at Animal Friends, you can visit the adoption page.
