Government Review Commission

The Government Review Commission is established every ten years to study and provide recommendations on the Home Rule Charter and county government, including the organization, practices and responsibilities of all county departments and agencies.

The Government Review Commission consists of nine members: five appointed by County Council and four appointed by the County Executive. All members must be registered voters in Allegheny County.

In October of 2025, County Executive Innamorato and County Council appointed the nine members of the 2025 Government Review Commission, who were sworn into office in November 2025.
