2025 Breastfeeding Friendly Place Awards

In celebration of National Breastfeeding Month, the Allegheny County Health Department’s (ACHD) WIC Program and the Allegheny County Breastfeeding Coalition (ACBC) proudly hosted the 29th Annual Breastfeeding Friendly Place Awards, recognizing exemplary support for breastfeeding across workplaces and public spaces.

To honor International Overdose Awareness Day, Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh will host the Fourth Annual International Overdose Awareness Day Resource Fair on Friday, August 29 at Allegheny Commons Park on Cedar Avenue. The public is invited to attend this free, community-centered event from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
