County Offices Closed September 7 in Observance of Labor Day

PITTSBURGH – All Allegheny County offices, including the independently elected offices, the Courts and County Council, will be closed on Monday, September 7, 2026, in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Hartwood Acres Mansion also will be closed. All offices and parks facilities will return to regular hours on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

There are also a variety of events being hosted in the County Parks:

• Deer Lakes Park will be hosting its annual Labor Day Car Cruise on Monday, September 7 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Carp Field. Dash plaques will be given to the first 100 show cars. Music and food trucks will be onsite.
• On Monday, September 7 pools at Boyce, North, and Settlers Cabin will close at 2:00 pm for the annual Pooches in the Pool event. South Park wave pool will operate with normal business hours. Pooches in the Pool is sold out.

Deer Lakes and Round Hill Spray Parks will operate as normal on Labor Day. Labor Day is the last operational day at pools and spray parks for the summer.
