REMINDER: Part of Crawford Run Road to Close Starting Monday

Deteriorated retaining wall next to Crawford Run Road

PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced that Crawford Run Road between Duffer Lane and Clarks Pike Road in East Deer will close starting at 9:00 am on Monday, January 15, 2024. The closure, which is expected to end in April 2024, is required for construction of a retaining wall, paving, and installation of guide rail and pavement markings.

Traffic will be detoured using Butler Logan Road, Russelton Road, Baileys Run Road, and Freeport Road. Residents living at and near the closure area will have access to their homes at all times.

The $797,777.00 project will be done by Pugliano Construction Company, Inc., of Plum.
