PITTSBURGH – The Department of Public Works announced today that Mt. Troy Road Extension in Ross has reopened to traffic. The closure, which began on March 9, 2026, was required for construction of a retaining wall and embankment, roadway repairs, and the installation of guide rail and pavement markings.
Mt. Troy Road Extension is used by an average of 389 drivers daily.
Carmen Paliotta Contracting of South Park was the primary construction contractor for the $1.9 million project.
