Allegheny County Reminds Voters of Satellite Voting Opportunities and Polling Place Changes Ahead of Primary Election

PITTSBURGH –  Allegheny County officials are reminding voters to make a plan for the May 19, 2026, Primary Election and to verify their polling place ahead of Election Day, particularly as several polling locations have changed in recent weeks. 

A total of 25 polling places have moved to a new location since the last election, including recent updates in McKees Rocks, Moon Township, and the City of Pittsburgh. Voters are encouraged to confirm their polling location before heading to the polls. 

The most recent polling place changes include: 

  • McKees Rocks 3-1 
  • McKees Rocks 3-2 

  • McKees Rocks 3-3 

  • Moon 0-2 

  • Moon 0-3 

  • Pittsburgh 1-2 

  • Pittsburgh 4-1 

  • Pittsburgh 20-8 

Voters can verify their polling location and view the complete list of polling place changes on the Allegheny County Elections website. 

In addition, Allegheny County continues to offer satellite election offices to provide voters with additional opportunities to apply for, receive, complete, and return their mail-in or absentee ballots in person ahead of Election Day. 

Satellite locations are available throughout the county and are intended to make voting more accessible and convenient for residents. Voters utilizing satellite offices can complete the full over-the-counter voting process in one visit. Satellite voting and ballot return will be available on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, for hours and locations visit the Allegheny County Elections website. 

“Making sure residents have accurate information and accessible options to cast their ballot is critical to ensuring a smooth and successful election,” said Allegheny County Executive Sara Innamorato. “We encourage all voters to double-check their polling location, take advantage of satellite election offices if needed, and make a plan to vote.” 

  • The deadline to apply for a mail-in or absentee ballot is May 12 at 5:00 pm. 

  • Completed mail-in and absentee ballots must be received by the Elections Division by 8:00 pm on Election Day, May 19.
