Last Day to Register to Vote before November 4 Election is Monday, October 20; Satellite Offices Open Next Weekend, October 25-26 

PITTSBURGH – Voters are reminded that Monday, October 20 is the last day to register to vote or update voter registration prior to the November 4 general election. October 28 is the last day to request a mail-in ballot.

Ballots are now available for voting “over the counter” at the Allegheny County Office Building at 542 Forbes Ave. Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Voters who have requested a mail-in ballot should receive them soon if they haven’t already.

Allegheny County’s satellite offices and ballot return sites will return for the general election and serve the same functionality as they did in the 2024 elections and the primary election in the spring of 2025.

Satellite offices are locations that voters can request a mail-in ballot, vote it on the spot (or take it home) and return it to elections division staff on site – functionally known as “over the counter voting.”

For the 2025 Municipal General Election the following satellite locations will be in operation on Saturday and Sunday, October 25th and 26th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

  • South Park Ice Rink  30 Corrigan Drive, Bethel Park 15102
  • County Office Building 542 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh 15219

Ballot Return Sites are open the final few days before election day (after the deadline to request a mail-in ballot has passed) and only serve the function of being a place where a voter can hand a mail-in ballot to an elections division employee. This is an important service for voters, as relying on mail service to deliver a mail-in ballot back to the elections division that close to Election Day is not recommended.

For the 2025 Municipal General Election, ballot return sites will be open the following dates and times: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Friday October 31 and Monday November 3; 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Saturday November 1 and Sunday November 2.
