CDBG Census Information

Census information is required for all Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) applications. Use the following resources to obtain the data.

American Community Survey (ACS)

The ACS is an ongoing survey by the U.S. Census Bureau that provides data every year.

ACS Low/Moderate Income Data by Census Tract/Block Group

In compliance with HUD CPD Notice: CPD-24-04, issued on June 6, 2024, announces the publication and implementation of the new low- and moderate-income summary data (LMISD) based on the American Community Survey 2016-2020 five-year estimates (2020 ACS). The data will replace the prior LMISD based on the American Community Survey 2011-2015 five-year estimates (2015 ACS) for the purposes of demonstrating compliance with the CDBG National Objective of providing benefit to low- and moderate-income persons on an area basis (“Area Benefit” or LMA) and other purposes discussed in the Notice.

Census Information on Persons with Disabilities

This document records the population and race of persons with disabilities by municipality. The information is required when filling out a pre-application or application for CDBG funding to remove architectural barriers and other projects related to the Americans with Disabilities Act.
