Public Works oversees the design and construction of numerous road and bridge projects annually and permits utility work on county-owned roads. Working with contractors and consultants, the department is constantly making vital repairs and improvements to our public assets.

  • Wall Avenue – Periodic lane closures between Mosside Boulevard (Route 48) and Station Street for road repairs, drainage improvements, and ADA ramps installation 

Rankin

  • Talbot Avenue ramp – Full closure between Kenmawr Avenue/Braddock Avenue and Fleet Street due to deterioration

Ross

  • Jacks Run Road – Full closure between Bellevue Road/Bellpark Drive and Kane Lane due to deterioration on Jacks Run Bridge No. 3

South Versailles

  • Coulterville Road – Periodic lane closures between the southern end of Horseshoe Drive and Tourman Street/First Street for milling and paving

  • Grand Avenue – Periodic lane closures between Von Stein Lane and Maple Lane for gas line work (Columbia Gas)
