Public Works oversees the design and construction of numerous road and bridge projects annually and permits utility work on county-owned roads. Working with contractors and consultants, the department is constantly making vital repairs and improvements to our public assets.

  • Becks Run Road – Periodic lane closures between Agnew Street and Wagner Street for water line work (Pennsylvania American Water) and periodic lane closures between Wagner Street and Fagel Street for gas line work (Columbia Gas)

Hampton

  • Duncan Avenue – Periodic lane closures between 2578 and 3919 Duncan Avenue for gas line work (Peoples Natural Gas)

Jefferson Hills

  • Coal Valley Road – Full closure between Route 837 and Clairton Road (Route 885) for Mon-Fayette Expressway construction work (Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission)

  • Grand Avenue – Periodic lane closures between Von Stein Lane and Maple Lane for gas line work (Columbia Gas)

Pittsburgh
